Red Butte

Since we are taking a bigger vacation to California for Michael's graduation, Mason and I didn't take any time off for our first anniversary. We made quick plans to go to either the Thanksgiving gardens or the Red Butte gardens. Red Butte won because it is close and it is free for U of U students, yay!

I slept in late and woke up to chocolate truffles, red roses, waffles, and a letter from Mason.

For lunch we went the very yummy Red Butte Cafe. Then we headed off to the gardens.

After that we headed to Gateway and saw Terminator Salvation. Today we were going to go up a canyon to hike, have a picnic and roast marshmallows, but it rained so we will have to reschedule.
