33 Weeks

Less than 2 months left. We are so excited to meet our little one that is getting bigger by the day. The font is a little hard to read but it says that our "baby weighs as much as a pineapple."

In case you were wondering what we are going to do with that pineapple, we are going to take out the insides to eat, carve it like a pumpkin, and stick a candle in it. Thanks to the tv show "Psych" for the awesome idea! I'll post the picture when we're done :) We have carved several watermelons for Halloween, but a pineapple should be fun. Speaking of Halloween, we have made some new friends in our new ward and this couple told us that they have a tradition of 31 days of Halloween where they watch Halloween movies every night in October. How cool is that?! Mason and I are thinking of stealing their tradition for next year. In the meantime we are trying to watch something Halloweeny each day even though we started late.

Here is a video from years ago when we carved watermelons and had a bit of fun with the neighborhood kids. One of the neighbor boys was so cute. He was probably about 4 years old at the time. Well he was terrified of the "Talking Watermelon" that night, but his mom told us that the next day all he talked about was the "Talking Watermelon" and how he loved the "Talking Watermelon." In fact, he kept asking if he could go visit the "Talking Watermelon" all day.
