We had a few stops but one of the more notable stops was Lovelock. My parents, Brad, and Kim were a couple of hours ahead of us and they had texted that they were going to stop in Lovelock for a late lunch. So when dinner rolled for us and Lovelock was nearby, we decided to stop there too. Well after looking around at the few streets that they had, it became obvious that the only place that was open was McDonald's. So we headed in there. Ava was very interested in all the people that came in. In fact, she was watching some lady so intensely that when the lady past by us and said hi, Ava turned her head to keep watching her and to our surprised said "HI!" very loudly back. It really made us laugh.
There was another guy that came in and noticed Ava watching him. So he tried to interact with her a bit, but Ava wasn't too happy about him watching her. She would turn around for a few moments to look at him. The second he would look back, she would turn away again.
Lovelock was pretty interesting in that a train went through their town about every 20 minutes.
We arrived at our resort pretty late. Despite being late, I gave Ava a bath, set everything up/put everything away. I figured that we would be there a week, so I figured might as well make it home right away.
Sunday morning, half of our group was good and went to church. The other slept in and chilled. We were in the later group. We had brought our church clothes and had planned on going to church, but Ava was not used to sleeping in her pack-n-play and so she kept waking us up and we were already exhausted from the long car ride the day before. We let the kids play around lunch time.
The afternoon we headed to the Armstrong Redwoods. It was a nice walk and it was exciting for Mason since he had never seen redwoods before. Ava fell asleep pretty quickly.

Monday we chilled in the morning. Mason and I took Ava to the kiddie pool and she enjoyed swimming. The kids played together and Ava finally started crawling!!! It was fun to see her start crawling. It's nice that she can move around a lot more because there is a lot less crying but also scary because our place is not baby proof.
Then we headed over to a rec center at the resort with Melody, Michael, Brad, and Kim. Mason and Melody played pool and ping pong while Ava, Kim and I watched.
We had lunch at Thumbs Up Burgers. They had huge burgers. I thought that I was supposed to have sweet potato fries, but when my meal came out it only had regular. Oh well. Ava enjoyed a little of Mason's sweet potato fries.
Then we headed off to Spring Lake Park. There was a lagoon there, so we had the kids swim for a bit. Ava wasn't so sure about being in Laila's floating device but after awhile she started having fun.
We had hotdogs there and then headed back to the resort.
*Special thanks to Mason, Brad, Kim, and my Dad for letting me steal their pictures*
